Laura Bell is a music supervisor for international films and series, with credits including collaborations with independent production companies as well as A24, Netflix, Amazon and HBO. Bell brings over 20+ years of intercontinental experience, with deep music knowledge and networks, expertly navigating the complexities of song research, curation, licensing, score development and executive music production. 

As a seasoned music-industry executive and Senior Board member of the UK & EU Guild of Music Supervisors, Laura is a passionate advocate for the craft of music supervision. Shaping numerous soundtracks for international films, documentaries, and series, her credits include Steve McQueen’s Occupied City, Petra Volpe’s Frank and Louis (premiering at Sundance 2026), Amazon’s series Modern Love Amsterdam and Cannes-nominated drama series Childhood Dreams. Further she has consulted on co-productions such as Lorcan Finnegan’s The Surfer and Kleber Mendonça Filho’s The Secret Agent. 

Laura has been a finalist twice for the Music + Sound Awards (2023 and 2024) for Best Placement of a Song in a Feature Film and was named one of four finalists in the Rising Star category in 2024.

Having performed as a soloist and in bands, orchestras, and ensembles, she graduated with first-class honours from the Sydney Conservatorium and studied at The Hague Royal Conservatoire. Additionally, she holds a Master of Management from the Australian Institute of Music, completed in the Sydney Opera House boardroom. In Australia, Bell worked at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as Executive Producer and Manager of ABC Classics and Jazz, where she recorded ARIA award-winning soloists, orchestras, and choirs in partnership with Universal Music. After leaving Australia, she became Head of Sync for BMG Talpa Music in the Netherlands and later Managing Director for BMG Production Music in Benelux, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. 

Her long-standing love for film and series eventually led her to establish her own music supervision company, Bell Music Supervision.
